Khmers people who are living around the globe must be able to vote during each national election of Cambodia. Their rights to vote and nation-building is guaranteed by the Cambodia National Constitution and the International Laws.

With this common ground, we have laid down concerted effort to achieve it.

Our nation shall hugely benefit from this.

Our future generation shall hugely benefit from this.

Together we accomplish!

Mr. Sophoan Seng, Leader of CEROC, was interviewed by Radio Australia, Khmer Service on 18 March 2014.

In an interview with CMN Radio from Canada, Yim Sovann of CNRP welcomed the CEROC in its effort to demand for the right to vote in Cambodia election. Not only supporting the campaign, the technical issues such as sending NEC’s representatives to register voters, setting up ballot box and funding are also elaborated.

H.E.Mu Sochua helped advocate the rights to vote of Khmers overseas of CEROC

Why I cannot vote from abroad?

This song is a great patriotic and historic narration for all Cambodians to watch. We, the CEROCERS, are promoting civic participation and democracy through voting. This song reminds us greatly on accomplishing our task to protect our interests.

Eastern and Western neighbors have relentlessly encroached this great empire. As an evidence, it has become tinier and tinier in both physical space and mental sphere, but our Khmer compatriots have relentlessly claimed back our legitimacy through long life learning and endurance.

The author picked on the tears of Naga serpents and Apsaras as an inspiring philosophy to wake up all Khmer compatriots.

This song significantly reminds us as Cambodians overseas who have never forgotten our root and we must work hard to protect this root. Among those efforts, our demanding for the Right to Vote in Cambodia elections is our urgent agenda. – CEROC
